Our mission for kids at Charter Oak:

Learn. Live. Lead.

Learn about God's love through activities and His word

Live in a fun, safe, and God-centered environment

Lead inside and outside of the church

Our programs for children 0yrs -5th grade are available during the service.

In our Church Nursery, kids are safe, prayed for, and known. They get to play age-appropriate activities, eat snacks, and interact with our infant and toddler communities. The Nursery is down the hall from the bathrooms and drop off begins at 9:50 am. Our approved and trained team can answer your questions and properly care for your child(ren).

Birth to 3's

4'S - 5th Grade

The classroom experiences for these children include God-centered activities, snacks, and Bible lessons. They have a short time together and then split for separate age-appropriate lessons.

Mt Rainier Building (2nd-5th)                Mt. St. Helens Building (4yrs-1st)

During the service kids in these age ranges are released with their leaders through the doors on the left-side of the Worship Center. Pick up your child(ren) in our portable classrooms that are located to the right when you go through the back doors.

We are so excited for this new life in your home and in our church family! Baby dedications are an important milestone for you as a parent, for your child, and for Charter Oak Community Church. We want to create a place that welcomes children with open arms just like Jesus. Are you interested? Contact our Children's Coordinator for more information.

Shepherds are what we call our wonderful children's ministry team! This name is based on Christ's model of shepherding believers. John 10:14 states, "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me--." We desire to sacrificially love the flock and point them back to the love of the true shepherd. This is a blessing for us and for the kids.
